Olivier Gillotin has three creations in the Effluve catalogue, released between 2009 and 2021, for Tom Ford, Mariah Carey and Hawthorne. His writing returns to sandalwood and patchouli, held together by a steady woody accord. From Forever (2009) to Tobacco Oud (2013) and Dark Suede (2021), wood remains the common thread.
